Tasting Notes:
Rich and plush, with dark aromas of currants, blackberries, tobacco and mocha. The plush fruit continues to the mid-palate and combines with sweet raspberry pie, toasty oak, plum and roasted spices. All of this richness is kept in balance by beautiful acidity and elegant tannins.
Vineyards:
The wine is 100% estate grown at our family owned Crane Ranch
Vineyard in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley which is managed by
John Anthony Truchard’s Vinewerkes custom farming company.
Winemaker:
Al Perry has been making Napa Valley Wines for over 25 years. Al Perry
is co-owner/winemaker of Robert Biale/Hill Climber Vineyards founded
in 1991.
